sky god wukang challenged the great turtle. and when the 2 gods fought the earth stopped being watered so the people knew the turtle was fighting and the only way to help the Great turtle was to pray to him. then 1 day the earth began to get watered

Again and the People knew the great turtle won. and this is why we pray to the great turtle everyday. Of course the wattering of the earth isnt the only gift the whole ocean is truly a gift from the great turtle.
