Congratulations, and Welcome to the Vindex Armed Forces.
This guide is to help you get your career started in the Army.
In this guide you will find useful commands, some rules of the Army, and some tips to help you in your time serving for Vindex.

First of all, lets start with the important things.
We as soldiers, do not commit crime. If a soldier is to commit a crime, they will be punished accordingly. Punsihments can be anywhere from a verbal warning, to a public execution.

The punishments, majority of the time will go through the Martial Court.
The Martial Court is the Army's version of a Civilian Court. We have our own Justice System aswell as our own Military Laws. Our Military Laws are posted on the forums.

We do not guard the bank, that is the job of the Police. We do not have any power in the city UNLESS Martial Law is called. Martial Law gives the military 100% power in the city.
*Do not confuse this with a lockdown. The military has no power in the case

of a lockdown*
People who are allowed to call Martial Law are:
1: President
2: Secretary of Defense
3: With agreement from the General of the Army, and Admiral of the Navy, and approved by the President or S.O.D.

Some soldiers in the Army's Security Division have speical privilages, therefore giving them power in the city.
As a soldier, we belong in Warfare. To join warfare, please do /warfare join and follow those instructions.

When you see a crime, please do /call 911 and report it.
As a Private in the Army, you have to listen to your Commanding Officers. As you rankup, you will gain more experience and more respect.
You are not allowed to kill ANYBODY unless in

in warfare. (Exception to those with special priviledge's in the city.)
In warfare, we are to only kill the enemy, rebels. You lose money for killing in Viridis. If you do kill, you will most likely go through Martial Court and receive a punishment.

Now some tips to help with your time serving.
Pay attention to what people of a higher ranking tell you, they have more experience and you could learn something.
Set a home at Army base and Pentagon. It's faster incase of an emergency.

Carry a gun, food, water, and ammo on you at all times. You never know when you will need any of those things. (Especially when in training)
If you need help getting to Army/Pentagon, ask another soldier or a taxi for assistance.

The ranking system in the Army is simple. There are 7 Enlisted ranks, and 9 Officer ranks. Enlisted soldiers must listen to Officers. Higher ranking officers can overrule what the lower ranking officers say. In warfare, the person in charge of the Army is

the highest ranking Officer online.
Enlisted Ranks are as follows, in order:
Private -> Corporal -> Sergeant -> Sergeant* -> Sergeant** -> SergeantMajor -> CommandSergeant.
Once you are a CommandSergeant,

your next rankup will make you an officer.
Officer Ranks are as follows, in order:
Lieutenant -> Captain -> Major -> Colonel -> General* -> General** -> General*** -> General**** -> General of the Army.
(GOTA) The GOTA is

appointed, therefore your last rank is General****.
The current General of the Army is Brenann.
Soldiers are to respect one another. Soldiers must call Officers: Sir or Ma'am, Depending on their gender.

One last important thing, possibly the most important:
DO NOT have any affiliation with the rebels what-so-ever.
Even if it is personal or private business. You are a member of the Vindex Armed Forces, the rebels are your enemy.

**Note: This doesnt mean to kill rebels on sight. Only do that in warfare, and if they tresspass the base.**
