Another chapter in the ongoing story of police versus crime, a former law enforcement officer (ShmexySheep) has turned against his own. Vowing to create a new assassin group, the rogue intends

to strike at members of the police force. It appears the group will be known by a signature: #Styx.
The leader of the Vindex Army (Sherlock) delivered a warning to the newborn criminal:

“Trust me, you'll regret doing this. Once you become a criminal, it's hard to get a job later on or even start a company because people don't trust you...”
In response to the negative reaction to his announcement, the leader delivered his own warning:

CITIZEN SPOTLIGHT: LOVE STORY
We had an opportunity to interview a local business owner (SshadowBlossom) about her experiences since moving to Vindex. What followed was a heart-warming story of success and hope. (Some names

Reporter: Describe a little about yourself for our readers.
Shadow: I moved to Vindex around 18. I didn't know anyone, but I always wanted to help people.

Around 20 I met this man. We got married, but things didn't work out so we got divorced. Then, when I was 21, I got a job as a doctor.
A couple months later I met this (other) guy. Our relationship lasted shortly, but the guy above us...

He was a drug dealer. When I met him, I told him about my relationship. I said I really liked him and we had a connection. He liked me too.
I moved into his apartment, and one day... He proposed to me!

Like I said, he was a drug dealer. Now, he's a policeman! I feel glad for him.
Now, to this day, our adventures lead on. Our love leads on. It'll never end.

Reporter: It's nice to hear some nice things happening in the nation! You said you were a doctor before, any particular reason you quit?
Shadow: I just didn't really have an interest in being a doctor anymore. So I opened up a bakery with someone!

Reporter: How's the bakery business going?
Shadow: Good, with our cafe we get a lot of donations. I'm glad with my Vindex life.

Reporter: Do you have any advice for new citizens?
Shadow: Your life, if it is bad, don't think that way because you never know how your future will be. And stay confident. You need it.

SOMETHING SUPERNATURAL?

The President (dragon_12dk) himself has come forward to lay blame on a strange force called “lag”.

Not much is known about this otherworldly energy, but it can be blamed for many other unusual occurrences across the nation. The President hopes for a fix, though one does not appear imminent.
