Section 1 - Upon passage of this bill, the Department of Justice shall be tasked with approving legal gun vendors.
The Department of Justice is also required to make a list available to the public of all of the approved gun vendors.

The list must be easily accessible to the public.
Section 2 - In order to become an approved vendor, a player must meet requirements listed Article IV and VI. They must also be approved first by the Deparment of Justice before they can start their sales.

Selling before you're approved is illegal and will get you placed on the Illegal Gun Vendors list for two weeks. You must then re-apply to be approved.

Section 3 - Also upon passage of this bill, the Department of Justice shall be tasked with prohibiting illegal gun vendors.
The Department of Justice is also required to make a list available to the public of all of the Illegal/Prohibited gun vendors.

Section 4 - In order to be placed in one of these two categories, you must undergo a thorough Background check (defined below).

Section 5 - Congress reserves the right to put someone on the prohibited gun vendor list if they fail to meet the requirements listed in this law.

Article III -
Section 1 - If a player violates is found illegally selling a firearm while being placed as an illegal/prohibited gun dealer,

they shall be incarcerated and their suspension time shall be extended for two more weeks until their record is cleared.
(2 weeks- arrest/crime free.)

This also applies to an approved vendor who sells a firearm to a civilian/criminal who has not had a background check.

Section 2 - If an approved dealer does not submit a log of who they sold firearms to at a minimum of every 2 weeks to the Department of Justice,

they shall be removed from the approved dealer list and shall not be allowed to sell until they can become a dealer again in 2 weeks.

Section 3 - In order to purchase a weapon and for a dealer to sell them to you, you must undergo a background check.
In order to pass, you must be at a minimum 2 weeks crime free and not be labeled a danger to society by the Department of Justice.

If a player accidentally buys from an illegal vendor or before being approved to buy, they will be offered the opportunity to turn the gun over without consequences. If they refuse, incarceration will follow.

Article IV -
Illegal Gun/Prohibited Vendors are defined as a person/company who employs or is a player who has committed a crime within the past two weeks or the department feels is a danger to society. CANNOT sell firearms of any kind.

Approved Gun Vendors are defined as a company/person who doesn't employ or isn't a player who hasn't committed a crime within the past two weeks. CAN sell firearms of any kind.

A Background Check is the process of being screened to make sure you meet the requirements listed below for the two categories of this law. These will be conducted by any Police Officer through the Official DOJ Database.

The Officer is responsible for turning in the names of who got a background check to the DOJ.
