All uniformed members of the service are responsible and accountable for the proper use of force under appropriate circumstances. Members of the police force are reminded that the application of force must be cosistent(Agree) with existing law and

with Vindex police department values, by which you pledge to value human life and respect the dignity of each individual.
The primary duty of all members of the service is to preserve human life. Only that amount of force necessary to overcome

resistance will be used to effect an arrest. Deadly physical force will be used ONLY as a last resort.
At the scene of a police incident, many members of the service may be present and some members may not be directly involved in the incident.

Members of the service are required to maintain control or intervene if the use of force against a subject clearly becomes excessive. Failure to do so may result in losing your job. Excessive force will not be tolerated.

Law enforcement officers are front-line soldiers of the law. As a member of the force you are
bestowed with the big responsibility to enforce the 26+ laws of Vindex. Some you give warnings to, others you take immediate force like for murder and bank

robbery. If 911 is called and has location and name of offender you are NOT to jail without evidence unless you see it happen again when you get there.
During the case of a robbery you will countdown from 30 and if you reach the robber before

you reach 30 you may jail. If it passes 30 please refrain from jailing and resort to killing otherwise the robber will recieve the money and everyone will lose $100. You do not jail protesters unless there is use of violence. As a cop your job isn't to

stay at the bank(unless there are less then 2 bankguards)it is to patrol the streets of Vindex and go to where ever called.

If you are an officer and commit a crime you will be fired or possibly banned. Failure to comply with protocal will result in the you being dismissed from the force.

When a player dies (s)he is forgiven for all his/her

Previous crimes. You may not jail after a player dies otherwise you're not following the NLR regulation and will be punished. Suicide for NLR(Unless it's legit way like cyanide) is bannable, but that doesn't grant you permission to jail still. Mods

Disrespecting or disobeying your superiors is unacceptable. It's up to the head whether they punish you for this, but you can get in trouble for this. Your main

police department. There are heads of each department to help organize the force and rid of abuse. These titles can be achieved by winning the elections which occur every 30 days.

---------------- Before Former A.G Turtlc retired there was a new protocal made to help clarify what police can do. In this document it is stated that as members of the force we are trusted with the ability to judge if

something deserves a warning or instant jail. It is advised that warnings are given, but it is the officer's discretion whether to jail right away or not.

style of perpetrating crimes. This goes from drive-by shootings all the way to advanced kidnappings. From ways to escape the police to get away cars for robbery. There are multiple new ways to commit crimes and here are the basics on how to stop it:

- Patrol: Doing this will not only help prevent crime, but also help spot it at the same time. - Short cuts: During a high speed chase it is best to take short cuts to catch up and aquire the law breaker.

Team work

Team work plays a big role in catching crooks. The whole point of us being a department is to work together to help serve justice. One man can not stop 10 bandits, but 5-10 can. In any situation like a hostage situation

you as a member of the force should always try to find ways to help your teammate whether it be distracting the person or sacrificing yourself. The place team work should always be used is in the bank during a bank robbery.

Crooked cops

These type of cops aren't hard to come around these days and will always be there. It is not your job to jail them it is your job to protect and serve. If you see an abusive cop the first thing you should do is report it.

Two wrongs do not make a right so jailing someone because they abused will just get you fired too.
