Outside of shop rules
You are permitted to construct shops within the confines of the shop provided. Walls and windows cannot be broken or removed unless you are on a subfloor. You are also restricted from entering subfloors without permission.

You are liable for any destruction of property. If you accidentally break a window, please repair it to avoid issue. Deliberate destruction of property will lead to court or admin action.

Theft
At times, valuable items will be available for sale within shops. Theft is not only suitable for court action, but is very easy to track and pinpoint the theif. Any attempt to remove shop or chest locks can carry a fine up to and exceeding 20k

depending on the situation. Theft is not tolerated and you will be removed and barred from COJ shop ownership. Along with this, any removal or copying of paintings within the art shop will be penalized as well for fines depending on the appraised value of

the artwork. If you feel you have been stolen from, please contact the building owner immediately.

Market Competition
To avoid conflict with other shops, the sale of a good or service may not be a direct copy of another business within the building. This means if someone owns a bar for example, another bar cannot be created within the building. As far

as the sale of good is concerned, you may sell the same good as another person if it does not cause conflict. In the case of conflict, one shop will give up their item or both shops will match the price of the item to avoid conflict. If you have issue

with a possible market competition within the building, contact Xingtian. No art may be sold within the building as stated by the building owner.

Legal
If you believe your business may go against legal statutes of viridis law, please let the building owner know beforehand. Any sale of drugs is strictly prohibited. The use of a shop for criminal acts such as kidnapping or mugging is strictly

prohibited. Any Violation of legal terms may be subject to removal or discussion with the building owner. If your business comes under legal scrutiny, you may be asked to adjust it to fit the legal parameters.

Rent
Rent will be paid on the day set on your sign in front of the shop. This is not a reminder for me as I keep track of dates externally. Any alteration of signs may be subject to fine and or removal. If you cannot pay your rent or are not online

to pay rent your shop will be barred from entry for one week. After that time, you will be removed and your shop property will become property of the building owner. If you wish to end your rent at any time, you may move out, but cannot reclaim the rent

paid for the week prior. Your rent will not change for the duration of your renting time, even if the unoccupied shops change.

Ending Notes
The building owner has the right to end your renting period for any reason. If you follow the guidelines listed in the handbook and your contract, you will not have any issue with the building owner.
