"gayness" by ellllaa

There they both stood, their true selves being shown to one another, yet only them. They were simply kissing in the rain, what a cliche moment. Yet, in the movies, there stood two different people, a woman, and a man. What was simply different about

this movie cliche, was a man, and a man. Leonardo and Lewis. They both still stood awkwardly in the closet, hoping no one but themselves could look, or ever think as them as "homosexual." Both of their families looked down on such a thing, words

regulary being thrown at any homosexual person their parents had seen. "Disgusting." "They're indefinitely going to hell." "God is disappointed." They were simply ashamed, their parents taught them that they should be if they ended up being such a

horrific thing. Lewis made Leonardo free, free from his rich, verbally abusive, and disgusting parents. Not surprisingly, Leonardo had done the same for Lewis, hoping every moment they spent together was cherished as much as Leo cherished him.

They loved eachother, that was absolutely no doubt. Yet, they were both completely ashamed of their sexuality, refusing to ever say even a peep about it. Lewis was poor, remarkably poor. His father was out of his mind, put into a mental hospital because

he ripped out his own eyes. His mother, was the only one left for him, she cared for him for as long as she could, until she had suspected him being homosexual. She evicted him, because of complete suspicion. Lewis had turned into a troubled kid, indeed.

A criminal, is what he turned into. A bad boy, one who often found himself lying on the streets, begging passerbyers for money. Why? Why did he deserve this, at all? Was he being punished for being gay? That was all that went through his head.

His chatoyant eyes were the only thing his mother remembered about him, though, were often cleared by her thoughts of how she would buy dinner tonight. Both of the boys, did not think about this. They were stuck in the moment, frozen in time. They were

happy. Happy is what they were, as they passionately kissed one another, letting go all of their hardships each time the kiss had gotten rougher and rougher. They were in Leonardo's house, hiding from his parents and hoping they wouldn't come back in a

bit. They both loved eachother, but how much longer could this really go on for? Until Leo's parents come home, of course. Bang. The door swung open, there stood Leonardo's two parents, staring at the two halfway into one another. Their expressions, were

complete disgust, and disappointment. His parents just caught him, even worse with another boy. "What the fuck is this, Leonardo Thomas?" His dad rushed in, grabbing the blanket between the two and lifting his hand, hitting Leonardo on the head, hard.

"D-dad.." Leonardo was ashamed, much more now that his parents caught him making love with a boy. "Do not even fucking say anything, Leonardo. Get out of this house, and bring your "boyfriend" with you too." Leonardo placed his hand on the back of his

head, a single tear falling down his cheek. "Please..dad, let me explain." Leonardo didn't want to get kicked out too, perhaps his parents would just get over it? Surprise, they didn't, for a while. "You have nothing to explain. You heard father,

get out." His mom was disappointed. As ashamed as her own son was of himself. Leonardo simply put on his jeans, and got up, waiting for Lewis to do the same. "I'm sorry, Lewis.. it's my fault for suggesting us to go there." Leonardo said as they both

walked out of Leonardo's parents mansion. "I-it's okay."

14 months later.

Leonardo lifted his wrist, and stared at his Rolex, obviously disappointed. "He's supposed to be here, mom. Maybe he's stuck in traffic?"

Leonardo's parents finally accepted him, after a few months, and they were having dinner. All together. "Hmph. He'd better hurry up, he surely needs to make a better view of himself after I saw his bare-buttox." She was right, of course, that's not the

way Leonardo wanted her to meet him either. Sadly, Lewis was not stuck in traffic, or even running late. He was in a bed of another woman, he had been cheating on Leonardo, for a while. "I love you, Nellie." They were sitting there, next to eachother.

Nellie, was an exceptional lady. Obviously, she was fooled into thinking Lewis was a single man. She just sat there, she didn't believe she loved him, she saw him as a rather strange man, and quite frankly, just a bed-buddy, nothing more. "Huh. So 'ya

don't love me?" Nellie was quiet still, she waited until Lewis was to get violent, or yell at her, at least that's what she expected from a person like him. Lewis got up from the bed, furious Nellie wouldn't respond to him. Grabbing his clothes from the

floor, he was quite obviously angry. "..Lewis, wait." He didn't stop, or wait for her. Nellie quickly got up, covering herself with a thin blanket. "Lewis. Wait.." He stopped, and stood there, slowly turning around to look at Nellie. Nellie was beautiful,

in his eyes. Her black locks tied into a loose bun, her hazel eyes glimmering as she insisted him to stop. "Listen.. you have a boyfriend. I don't wait to ruin that.. the last thing I want is for you to lose someone you actually love." Nellie was

sweet, especially to Lewis, even after he had hit her. "W-what? I don't have a boyfriend, or anyone, where the hell did you get that from?" Nellie lifted his phone. Fuck, that's what he forgot.
"You've been getting texts from him, Leonardo. You were

supposed to meet his parents, right now. Yet, you're in here laying in bed with me. Please.. Lewis, don't lie to me. Whatever this is.. it's over. I don't need you hurting such a sweet boy like Leonardo." Nellie didn't know Leonardo, though she assumed

he was sweet, for Lewis' sake. Lewis stomped over to her, snatching the phone from her hand. "Fuck you, Eleanor. Fuck. You." Lewis stormed out of there, changing his clothes as he went down the elevator.
