I. The Hospital

This chapter will teach you the layout of the hospital and the general functions of the rooms.

Ground Floor

The ground floor consists of reception, sick waiting, well waiting, supply shop, and storage/crafting.

Reception

This is where patients enter the hospital. There should always be a doctor to greet

patients there. Based on thier complaints, you should direct them to the sick waiting room or well waiting room.

Sick Waiting Room

Patients with contagious diseases such as Yellow Fever or Pneumonia should go to the sick waiting room.

Well Waiting Room

All other patients can go to the well waiting room.

Doctors Supply Shop

This is a specially discounted shop for doctors to buy supplies to make meds.

TIP: Buy water bottles from the cafeteria. They are cheaper there.

Storage and Crafting

Behind the well waiting room reception desk is the storage and crafting room. This is where you can make meds and store supplies.

TIP: If the hospital is slow, you can make meds ahead of time in case there is a rush.

First Floor

Upstairs is the public offices as well as administration. This is where you can take sick patients to keep them away from other patients.

Second Floor

This is where the cafeteria is! You can get food and water here if you get hungry or thirsty while working.

TIP: Ask your patients if they are hungry or thirsty. Sickness can deplete these to the point of death!

Third Floor

This is the mental ward. Sometimes patients come in with a mental health problem. You can put them in a padded room for thier safety.

Fourth Floor and Up

These are private doctor's offices. You

can rent them for $800 per day. Some doctors like having them so they can make paid-for checkups and other things.

TIP: They are extremely expensive for new doctors. Don't get one unless you absolutely need it.

II. Healing

You may notice that you can't cure patients in the hospital. This is a bug. Luckily there are a couple of solutions:

1. If a patient has a home or land they own, they can take meds and other treatments home to apply.

2. Other patients can take thier meds into the wild to apply them.

(The bug requires you to be somewhere you can build.)

TIP: You can treat patients in the wild yourself but BEWARE: Deviants like to camp the wild spawn area to attack people.

III. Bandages and Syringes

Another issue is with the crafting recepies for syringes and bandages. They jsut dont work.

To remedy this, you have to find a shop that sells them.

Luckily the mall is

next to the hospital!

Thank you to all the doctors and nurses I met while working at the hospital.

This is dedicated to my "grandaughter" Abby, for keeping me company while writing.
