The primary duty of ALL officers is to preserve life. Only the amount of force necessary to overcome resistance will be used to arrest.

Deadly physical force will be used ONLY as a last resort.

Introduction
-------------------At the scene of a crime, many officers may be present and some may not be directly involved. However, this does NOT relieve any member present of the obligation to ensure safety and deliver justice.

As a police officer you are required to intervene if the use of force becomes excessive. Failure to do so may result in losing your job and a criminal lawsuit.
EXCESSIVE FORCE WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.

On The Job

As a Police Officer you are bestowed with the big responsibility of upholding the 30+ laws of VindexNation.

While on duty, you must respond to all crime presented within police boundaries.

-------------------As a Police Officer, you will face critical situations where immediate decisions must be made in order to preserve the integrity of the law and the citizens. It is of your best interest to read thoroughly.

-------------------During all hours of the day, crime booms. You must respond to all dispatch as it is asked for accordingly.

Police Officers have many duties, including patrolling, guarding the bank, and yes, training.

-------------------If you are not present at the time of the crime, you must NEVER arrest the suspect without proof unless instructed to do so. And ALWAYS make sure to announce when transporting a prisoner.

The most demanding activity performed is guarding the bank.

Many things must be applied whilst guarding, so you will only learn the basics here. You can learn more in detail by reading "Bank Protocol; PA".

The bank recieves a fresh load of cash every 1 hour after being robbed, to avoid it from happening in the first place you must learn to enforce Loitering (see: "Bank Protocol; PA").

-------------------Guarding at night is required for Bank Guards, not Police, but if none are available then you must stay to guard at night.

-------------------While patrolling, you should always be on the lookout for crime.
Some laws do NOT require warnings to be given.

Just as any other job of the Justice Department, you are NOT to commit ANY crimes.

1. Never use lethal force unless instructed to do so.
2. Log ALL you arrests using the proper format.
3. Do NOT handcuff or taze players for no reason.

4. You may assist guarding the bank if there are less than 2 bank guards on.
5. Do NOT chose to murder over jailing unless absolutely necessary or instructed to do so by a higher power.

6. Do NOT always warn with your jailstick.
7. Only arrest for crimes you see or if instructed to do so otherwise by a higher power.
8. Do NOT jail someone who has a NLR.
