===================Ultimate Business Guide
===================Preface:
So, you want to start a business? Here's your handbook. Everything you need to know, from names to prices to space will be here. As the owner of a sucessfull business, I know the ropes

Page 2 of 31

===================Part One: Business Names
===================Before you think of starting a business, you must consider the aim of your company. Too many aims, and your customers will use a more refined business. Not enough aims, and you won't get

Page 3 of 31

customers. I would recommend starting your business with about 2 or 3 ultimate goals. Now, with this in mind, take your goals and figure out the general topic of your business. Finally, take these 2 factors and formulate a name out of them.

Page 4 of 31

example (my business)
Goal 1: Plan parties for Vindex citizens
Goal 2: Sell party supplies (Bright wool and banners)
Business topic: Parties
Name: CustomParty
Note: with the names, also consider the features of your business, and incorporate them with the

business name.
===================Part 2: Business types
===================Here, you actually start your business. But, before you can open it, you need to specify what type of business you will open. In this part, we will review the business types

Page 6 of 31

Type 1: proprietorship
===================This is the lowest business type. It costs 1,000 dollars to create, and you can hire 1 other employee.
Recommended for: businesses that do not require lots of employees or starter business

Page 7 of 31

Type 2: Partnership
==================
This type of business is the third lowest business type. You can hire up to 3 other players and it costs 5,000 dollars to start.
Recommended for: businesses with 1 aim or don't require many employees

Page 8 of 31

Type 3: llc
===================An llc (Limited Liability Corporation) costs 15,000 dollars to start and has an employee cap of 10 other workers.
Recommended for: businesses with 2-3 aims and require a force of employees

Page 9 of 31

Type 4: corporation
===================A corporation is the highest business type. It costs 30,000 dollars to create and you can hire as many employees as you want
Recommended for: businesses with 4+ aims that require a large force of employees

Page 10 of 31

So, after looking through the different types, have you selected one? When you are ready, follow the command below to open your business

/business create [business type] [business name]

Congradulations, your business is OPEN!

Page 11 of 31

===================Part Three: Financial plans
===================Your first priority after creating a business is making a financial plan. Follow the steps in this guide to create one that will get you all the way to /business top!

Page 12 of 31

First, you must identify whether your business is selling services or products. Follow the respective guide below. Before you start that, though, execute /business deposit 1,000 to make a starting deposit into your business, it will help a lot further in

Page 13 of 31

Services financial guide: Think about your service. Is it a luxurious service or a quick, daily one? If it is luxurious, make the prices or rates high. You will get less customers but more money when you get a customer, vice versa with the daily one.

Page 14 of 31

Rates and prices: With services, I'd recommend making an appropriate base price and then a rate for how much time you work for. These are, of course, recommendations, and they can alter with the different business topics out in Vindex Nation

Page 15 of 31

Products financial guide: You need to balance the prices. Too low, and you won't make a profit. Too high, and no one will buy your products. Profit is VERY important! If you make a beer for 40 dollars and sell it for 20 you will lose money! If you make a

Page 16 of 31

beer for 40 dollars and sell it for 200 no one will buy it! The ideal retail price for a beer made for 40 dollars would be 60-65 dollars.
Price your items accordingly. Different businesses require different financial plans, so be flexible!

Page 17 of 31

ChestShop module:

Seller's IGN (ex. Mixermic sells pork so top line would be Mixermic)
Amount (ex. if he is selling a stack of pork he would put 64)
Price (if it was 32 dollars he would put B (bucks) and 32 (price) so B32
Finally the item name

Page 18 of 31

(ex. Grilled Pork)

Make sure to keep the ChestShops filled, out of stock chests drive customers away!

So, now that you have your financial module ready, it's time to start selling!

===================Part Four: Setting up
===================After you plan out money, it's time to search for office space. This can be a long and tedious process, I recommend asking for donations.
Here is a list of different office locations and there

Page 20 of 31

prices

The Mall: 2-3k to rent a space for 10 days, or buy a resale which would be anywhere from 15k to 30k
CollinTower: 30k per floor
World Trade Center: 50k per floor
Homes4sale: 10k per room

Page 21 of 31

Wyndhamresort: 13k per room
Search around for other office ideas :D
Priorities:
1. Get office space
2. Decorate your space and set up chestshops according to your business (AdminShop prices are good)
3. Hire staff

Page 22 of 31

Hiring staff:
Advertise in global that your business is looking for staff members. Make sure to add your staff positions using /business createPosition [name] [pay]. For the pay, you can either use a payroll [paid automatically], or pay them out of your

Page 23 of 31

own pocket. Make sure to specify with the employee what they want and what you can do. You can do anything to hire staff, from just hiring to complex job interviews and trials and such. For jobs that have more skill required, make sure to test the

Page 24 of 31

employee first.

After you hire, assign roles and responsibilities, stock your chestshops, and start advertising!

Page 25 of 31

===================Part Five: Advertising
===================You have several options here. You can advertise using /radio (100 dollars per broadcast) or you can write books and give them out, you can do anything you want for advertising. PLEASE do not

Page 26 of 31

advertise in global, it is not meant for ads and the reason radio is so expensive is so chat is not clogged with ads. Advertising is simple, but ultimately it rests in the customers hands to go and use your business or not, so I am going to give some tips

Page 27 of 31

Advertising Tips:
-Use bandwagon appeal (ex. Everyone uses CustomParty for their custom party needs!)
-Sales (ex. BOGO lava buckets, come in now!)
-Use hooks in book ads (ex. ever found that no one sells potatos? Well PotatoInc does!)

Page 28 of 31

===================Part Six: Useful commands
===================/business deposit [amount]
/business withdraw [amount]
/business hire [person] [position]
/business removeposition [position]

Page 29 of 31

/business fire [person]
/business help

or ask around!
