Court Rules:
1. Members of the court should behave themselves and failure to do so may result in removal from the court room.
2. A baliff and clerk must be present.
3. Once sitting, inform the court to sit and the court is "now in session."

4. Ask if the prosecution and defense are ready.
5. Then say "today we are hearing (prosecution) v. (defendant), on the suspected charges of (charges)."
6. Ask how the defendant pleas.

Nolo contendre and challenging jurisdiction are both prohibited for the sake of simplicity.
8. Prosecution goes first, after the plea.
9. "State, we will now hear the opening statements, start with prosecution."
10. Ask if both parties are ready.

11. You can ask both parties to submit more evidence at this point.
12. Or you can have an arraignment where the criminal charges are read pre-trial.
13. The prosecution and/or defendant can call witnesses.
14. Witnesses must be sworn in and cannot

tell lies.
15. When someone objects you ask for the grounds of it and then say if it is sustained or overruled.
16. Overruled means the witness can be asked the question if the objection is sustained then not.

17. After the witnesses are called, you can then do a closing statement or read the verdict.
18. The court has found the defendant <guilty/not guilty>
of suspected charges of <charges>.
19. "Court dismissed."
