► Introduction
Hello citizen!
If you are interested in joining the navy, or if you have already joined, then you should definitely read through this guide, as it may greatly help you in your career as a sailor in the VN Navy.

► Basics
Once you join the Vindex Nation Navy, you start at the rank Seaman Recruit (E-1).
The main base of operations of the Vindex Nation Navy is the Naval Base Coronado, located in the state of San Amaro.

As a Seaman Recruit (E-1), you are enlisted and you have to listen to all officers (O-1 and higher). Whenever you see an officer outdoors, you salute them with the command "/rp salutes", the only exception where you do not salute an officer is

when you are indoors.

► Jurisdiction
As a member of the Vindex Nation Navy, the only cases where you are legally allowed to commit murder are as following:
1 - During an installation breach (ex. Pentagon attack, etc.)
2 - In warfare.

3 - During a lockdown where Martial Law was declared.
You have no power in the city unless the Martial Law was declared upon a specific area. As a sailor you belong to warfare waters. Friendly fire will not be tolerated.

In the navy, ranking will be one of the most important things. All of the ranks are listed below, it goes from the bottom to the top.

You rank up by time, however if you are skilled and obedient, you may be promoted to a higher rank.

► Fleet
The Department of the Navy owns two operational vessels and one stationary vessel. Out of the operational vessels, the bigger one is called VS Turnet and the smaller one is called VS Cyclone.

Both operational vessels are located in the state of San Amaro, anchored in the Naval Base Coronado.
The stationary vessel is called VS Expedition and is located in the state of Viridis, anchored in the open sea.

All officers (O-1 and higher) get access to two boats, which can be accessed by spawning them at any boat spawn.
All flag officers (O-8 and higher) get access to a naval charger, which can be accessed by spawning it at any car spawn.

► Gear
Once you join the navy, you will get access to an unique M16 assault rifle, which can only be obtained with a membership in the Department of Defense, the Department of Justice or the VIA.

This gun may be only be purchased in the Naval Base Coronado, if you cannot find the exact location, ask a felow sailor or any admiral. Other than this, you also get access to unique uniforms which can be accessed by the comamnd "/skin toggle".

Your uniform differs by ranks. Enlisted have different uniforms than officers. And additionally, officers also get access to the special navy cap, which can be obtained from the hat shop, with the command "/hat shop".
