The King slowly walked over to the chamber where the gold was kept. He tossed a couple more coins in. There was an attempted robbery earlier that day. Someone tried to steal his crown. And obviously, they had failed, or they wouldn't have been

in the cell about fifty meters away. The King walked over to the occupied cell, where the criminal sat on the hard, stone floor. The criminal looked up at the King and quickly glanced back down. The King sighed, and went back over to his throne. People

were getting thrown into a cell every day now; it seems like the magnitude and number of crimes has risen by almost three times in the past month. What could be motivating these people, the King thought. He ordered for his servant, and then walked over to

the gold chamber. He told the servant to notify guards that a large amount of money will be transfered between villages this afternoon. About five minutes later, ten guards and fifteen soldiers came up to the gold chamber. They were holding carts, which

the soldiers. There was panic. The guards dropped the carts and hurried into the nearest building. The soldiers took everyone into custody that was near the blast. The King was notified quickly of the tragedy, and mounted his horse. By the time he got to

the scene, all of his soldiers and guards lay dead. The King sensed someone behind him, and looked back. The man behind him got his knife, and brought it down. The King thought quickly, and took his sword out. He parried the initial strike, and continued

to slash and block at his attacker. The man put this piece of metal into something that looked threatening. The man held it up, and just when he was about to use it, was punched in the back by a guard. He was wounded, but looked like he would survive. The

King looked for signs of his gold for days after the incident. He saw no traces. The King had no choice, but to restore his gold supply, he had to go to the cave, enshrouded by mystery. He ordered a the rest of his remaining soldiers to come with him. As
