I never knew the waves could reach this high. The waters touch my feet, sending a pulse of relaxation. Slipping away, into a deep calmness. And yet, I feel something wrong. Something… much more vast is approaching.

The majority of my people are friendly, healthy occupants of Maloye. But, everything we work for always falls to dust. I see the failure in each and everyone’s eyes. Their labor and life interfering with their happiness.

Yet, nobody complains. Nobody yearns for more. Nobody has ever wanted to leave the planet, even their home. The lives here are dull and boring. They do not care when the waves decimate their homes.

I do not believe there to be any difficulty with my planet. Yet, there seems to be evil lurking about on the shore. I just do not know what exactly the problem is. I believe the only remedy will be time.

There is one way to find out, and that is going to the stars.
I write these words with vigor, for such anomalies cannot be ignored.
